Psalms 105:11-26 Tree Of Life Version (TLV)

11. saying, “To you I give the land of Canaan, the portion of your inheritance.”

12. When they were but few in number, few indeed, and foreigners in it,

13. wandering from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people,

14. He allowed no one to oppress them— for their sake He rebuked kings:

15. “Touch not My anointed ones, and do My prophets no harm.”

16. He called down a famine on the land. He broke the whole supply of bread.

17. He sent a man before them— Joseph, sold as a slave.

18. They hurt His feet with shackles, he was put in irons—

19. till the time that his word came true— the word of Adonai proved him true!

20. The king sent and released him. The ruler of the peoples set him free.

21. He made him lord of his house, ruler over all his possessions,

22. to discipline his princes at his will, and teach his elders wisdom.

23. Then Israel came into Egypt, Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.

24. He made His people very fruitful, and made them more numerous than their foes.

25. He turned their hearts to hate His people, to deal shrewdly with His servants.

26. He sent Moses His servant, and Aaron, whom He had chosen.
