1 Corinthians 11:24-34 Tree Of Life Version (TLV)

24. and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “This is My body, which is for you. Do this in memory of Me.”

25. In the same way, He also took the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in memory of Me.”

26. For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes.

27. Therefore whoever eats the bread or drinks the Lord’s cup in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord.

28. But a man must examine himself, and then let him eat of the bread and drink from the cup.

29. For the one who eats and drinks without recognizing the body, eats and drinks judgment on himself.

30. For this reason many among you are weak and sick, and quite a few have died.

31. For if we were judging ourselves thoroughly, we wouldn’t be coming under judgment.

32. But when we are judged, we are being disciplined by the Lord so that we might not be condemned along with the world.

33. So then, my brothers and sisters, when you come together to eat, wait for one another.

34. If anyone is hungry let him eat at home, so that when you meet it doesn’t lead to judgment. And the rest I will put in order when I come.
