Ezra 2:61-68 The Scriptures 1998 (ISR98)

61. and of the sons of the priests: sons of Ḥaḇayah, sons of Qots, sons of Barzillai, who took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gil‛aḏite, and was called by their name.

62. These sought their register among those who were counted by genealogy, but they were not found, so they were barred from the priesthood as defiled.

63. And the governor said to them that they should not eat of the most set-apart gifts until there stood up a priest with the Urim and Tummim.

64. The entire assembly was forty-two thousand three hundred and sixty,

65. besides their male and female servants – these were seven thousand three hundred and thirty-seven. They also had two hundred men and women singers.

66. Their horses were seven hundred and thirty-six, their mules two hundred and forty-five,

67. their camels four hundred and thirty-five, donkeys six thousand seven hundred and twenty.

68. And some of the heads of the fathers’ houses, when they came to the House of יהוה which is in Yerushalayim, offered voluntarily for the House of Elohim, to establish it in its place.
