Deuteronomy 29:4-10 The Scriptures 1998 (ISR98)

4. “But יהוה has not given you a heart to know and eyes to see and ears to hear, till this day.

5. “And I have led you forty years in the wilderness. Your garments have not worn out on you, and your sandals have not worn out on your feet.

6. “You ate no bread and drank no wine nor strong drink, so that you might know that I am יהוה your Elohim.

7. “And when you came to this place, Siḥon sovereign of Ḥeshbon and Og̅ sovereign of Bashan came out against us to battle, and we smote them,

8. and took their land and gave it as an inheritance to the Re’uḇĕnites, and to the Gaḏites, and to half the tribe of Menashsheh.

9. “Therefore you shall guard the words of this covenant, and do them, so that you prosper in all that you do.

10. “All of you are standing today before יהוה your Elohim: your leaders, your tribes, your elders and your officers, all the men of Yisra’ĕl,
