2 Chronicles 8:8-12 The Scriptures 1998 (ISR98)

8. their descendants who were left in the land after them, whom the children of Yisra’ĕl did not destroy – from these Shelomoh raised compulsory labour, as it is to this day.

9. And Shelomoh did not make slaves of the children of Yisra’ĕl for his work, but they were men of battle, and chiefs of his officers, and commanders of his chariots, and his cavalry.

10. And these were the chiefs of the officials of Sovereign Shelomoh: two hundred and fifty, who ruled over the people.

11. And Shelomoh brought the daughter of Pharaoh up from the City of Dawiḏ to the house he had built for her, for he said, “My wife does not dwell in the house of Dawiḏ sovereign of Yisra’ĕl, for the place where the ark of יהוה has come, is set-apart.”

12. Then Shelomoh offered burnt offerings to יהוה on the altar of יהוה which he had built before the porch,
