1. And a certain one was sick, El‛azar from Bĕyth Anyah, the village of Miryam and her sister Martha.
2. (Now it was Miryam who anointed the Master with perfume and wiped His feet with her hair, whose brother El‛azar was sick).
3. Therefore the sisters sent to Him, saying, “Master, see, he whom You love is sick.”
4. But when יהושע heard, He said, “This sickness is not unto death, but for the esteem of Elohim, so that the Son of Elohim might be esteemed by it.”
