5. I pity Moab!Its people are running to Zoarand to Eglath-Shelishiyah.They cry on their way upto the town of Luhith;on the road to Horonaimthey tell of disasters.

6. The streams of Nimrimand the grasslandshave dried up.Every plant is parched.

7. The people of Moab are leaving,crossing over Willow Brook,taking everything they ownand have worked for.

8. In the towns of Eglaimand of Beerelimand everywhere else in Moabmournful cries are heard.

9. The streams near Dimonare flowing with blood.But the Lord will bringeven worse trouble to Dimon,because all in Moab who escapewill be attacked by lions.
